International Alexander Awareness Week, October 6-14th, 2007 RESOURCES FOR TEACHERS
October, 2007 marks the fourth annual International Alexander Awareness Week. In the USA we chose to straddle the week over two weekends giving teachers more of a choice to schedule events. In many areas of the country the Columbus Day Weekend is Autumn Fairs and Harvest Celebrations, a time when many people are out and about. A beautiful Poster and postcard were designed by Tom Breuer of Germany to help teachers attract attention to the Alexander Technique. Good luck, have some fun and please list your event on the EVENTS page. Here’s how to list your event: Send email to: Alana Cox, IAAW Coordinator, at alanaforat@hotmail.com with details about your event as follows, and we’ll add it to the page. Please include: · Your Name · Date and Time of Event · Title of talk/event · Address, Cost (if any) · Contact Information to register We will link from your name to your contact information on the AmSAT “Find a Teacher” page.

We are hoping that training courses will open their doors to invite the public. Increasing public awareness is a gift both to the AT community and to the population overall. Please contribute a little bit of your time, build the strength of the AT community and have some fun!
