International Alexander Awareness Week, October 4-12th, 2008 RESOURCES FOR TEACHERS
October, 2008 marks the fifth annual International Alexander Awareness Week. In the USA we chose to straddle the week over two weekends giving teachers more of a choice to schedule events. In many areas of the country the Columbus Day Weekend is Autumn Fairs and Harvest Celebrations, a time when many people are out and about. Good luck, have some fun and please list your event on the EVENTS page. Here’s how to list your event: Send email to: Michele Drivon, IAAW Coordinator, at micheledrivon@yahoo.com with details about your event as follows, and we’ll add it to the page. Please include: · Your Name · Date and Time of Event · Title of talk/event · Address, Cost (if any) · Contact Information to register We will link from your name to your contact information on the AmSAT “Find a Teacher” page.

Here are some ideas from previous years.
We are hoping that training courses will open their doors to invite the public. Increasing public awareness is a gift both to the AT community and to the population overall. Please contribute a little bit of your time, build the strength of the AT community and have some fun!
